National Engineers Week from the Boston Children's Museum has many great engineering activities for kids, plus videos from engineers about what their jobs are like and more about their own work.
Get outside! Try one of the many parks and properties on the North Shore that are managed by the Trustees, the state of Massachusetts (including Bradley Palmer in Topsfield, Breakheart in Saugus), or the Audubon Society.

On Feb 17 from 4 to 6 pm, professional audio producer Lightfoot and rap titans Red Shaydez and Flash (N.B.S.) will be standing by in Boston Public Library Zoom rooms to give Music Maker Showdown participants real-time, constructive advice and encouragement, regardless of experience level! Teens are encouraged to make shareable copies of or links to their music to display/distribute through Zoom in advance of the session.
NASA's Mars 2020 Perseverance rover is scheduled to touch down just before 4pm on Thursday. Live coverage and landing commentary from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California will begin at 2:15 p.m. on the NASA TV Public Channel and the agency’s website, YouTube, and other social media sources.
