Cornhole Tournament

Mary Poppins at BHS
The BHS Spring Musical opens tonight! Mary Poppins will be performed both this weekend and next. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
Donate Your Loose Change - it's All for Books!
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming! As part of it we are running and "All for Books" fundraiser. Please donate your loose change and dollar bills. The money raised through this will go to Beverly Bootstraps, who will then purchase books at our fair. The school gets a portion of the money spent and Scholastic matches the dollars to donate to other literacy organizations!

Gr 8 - Class T-Shirt Design Contest
Attention 8th grade artists! Want to see your artwork on the 8th grade class t-shirt and graduation program? Then just submit your artwork to Ms. Powers in the main office.
Design MUST include Beverly Middle School Class of 2019 and artwork needs to be done on a white piece of paper.
All submissions should be turned in to Ms. Powers by 3pm on May 14th. Your classmates will then have the chance to vote on the winning design. Be sure to include your name and homeroom on the back of your submission. Best of luck artists!

The Grade 8 Panoramic Picture Day is today, Friday, May 10 at 2:15! It will be the first grade 8 class to have their photo taken at the new Beverly Middle School.
All 8th grade students should report to the cafeteria at 2:15 on Friday. The picture is to be taken in the outdoor learning space. In the event of rain, the picture will be taken in the gym, on the bleachers.
Order forms were handed out last week by grade 8 teachers. You can pay by check or online by going to mylifetouch.com and entering in the Picture Day ID OB018029T0. (Hint: copy and paste this number into the box on the website!). Send your student in on picture day with the order form and exact cash payment or a check or your online payment code.

2. Desserts - Drop off a dessert on Friday 5/10 morning for staff to enjoy alongside their special teacher luncheon that day. These can be home-made OR store bought - any and all are appreciated.

It will be in the library from Tuesday, May 28 through Friday, May 31. All students will be given an opportunity to come during the school day at an assigned time. The fair will also have some before and after school hours and there will be an online fair to shop without ever setting foot in the school. New this year is an e-wallet, which you will be able to set up ahead of time, so you don't have to remember to give your kids cash or a check!

The information and directions to lease a Beverly High School laptop were distributed in April to 8th grade students. Online registration will be available until June 15th.

Note: if your child may be attending Essex Tech, do not register for a laptop between April 23rd and June 15th because the first registration payment is non-refundable. The Tech Center orders extra laptops for students who are waitlisted for Essex Tech. If you have been waitlisted but are not admitted to Essex Tech and decide to attend BHS, immediately call the BHS Tech Center at 978-921-6132 ext. 11171 so we can hold a laptop for your child. Next, you must come to the Tech Center to fill out the appropriate registration form with payment (you will not be able to register online). Please note, this is on a first-come first-serve basis, so please call the BHS Tech Center as soon as you have been notified by Essex Tech.
