Public Library Book Sale
The Friends of the Beverly Public Library are holding their semi-annual book sale Saturday, October 20 through Sunday, October 28 in the Sohier Room. If you are a member (or want to join!) the Friends you can come to a members-only preview sale on Friday evening, October 19 from 6-8 pm.

Game Donations Sought
The BMS Librarian, Ms. Woznick, is looking for donations of board and card games for students to use in the library after school or to loan out to classrooms. Email Ms. Woznick at awoznick@beverlyschools.org.
Pete Frates 5K
It is time to sign up for the 4th annual Pete Frates 5K! Race is November 4th!
Thanks to past fundraising, construction of the park is underway. We will be using the funds from this year’s race to ensure we have the long term resources to keep the park well maintained for many generations of children.

Field Hockey
Just a reminder that the field hockey team has a game today on the BMS turf vs. Triton. Though we are the home team, please wear your orange uniforms and black shin guards. The game starts at 4:00, but you should be on the field to warm up promptly at 3:15. Any questions, please see Coach McGrath in room 444.

Parent Afternoon Back is a time for parents/guardians to get a brief update (3-4 minutes) on their child’s progress. Mini-conferences are first come, first serve for parents.
Students will be dismissed for the day at 12:15. Lunch is not served on this day.

Boys' Travel Basketball

This Thursday the Patriots will face the Colts. We will have a Patriots Spirit day tomorrow (Thursday) to show our New England Pride!
On Friday we will be having a Red Sox day to cheer on the Sox for their first game in the AL East division series.

Community members wishing to set up a table and sell their own wares are welcome for a $20 donation to the music department.

The BHS Fall Play Cast is looking for melodramatic middle schoolers to play warrior animals in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Auditions will be today, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 4 - 5:30 PM in the BHS Auditorium and take no more than 15 minutes. Please be ready to provide parent and student names, grade, email, phone number, and schedule after school.
