YMCA Teen Dance Tonight
There will be a YMCA Teen Dance held tonight Friday, September 21st. From 7pm-10pm you can come to the Y with your friends, hang out, and dance throughout the night. Only $10 per student, snacks and drinks are sold for $1-$2 each. All students must be picked up no later than 10:15pm.
Middle School Open House Today & Tomorrow
Got some friends who want to get inside the new middle school? Haven't been able to come by yourself? This weekend is the time!

Come support your local elementary schools and join us at Lynch Park on Sunday, September 23rd for the 9th Annual Fall Frolic 5K & Fun Run.
Fun Run will begin at 9am and will be entirely in Lynch Park. 5K begins at 9:30am.

Direct Donation Drive
The BMS PTO has kicked off the Fall Fundraiser - this year, the PTO is holding a Direct Donation Drive so 100% of your tax-deductible contribution goes directly to your student's enrichment. That also means no selling and no extra work for you! Every donation makes a difference - and donations are eligible for fantastic raffle prizes!
Check the Beverly Middle School PTO website's Direct Drive page for information about prizes or to donate via PayPal. You can also donate by check. Thank you all for your continued support.

There is a home cross country meet for the BLACK team today. Please meet on the turf after school.
The ORANGE team has an away meet at LYNN. Please meet in the gym after school.

Library Volunteers
BMS Librarian Ms. Woznick is looking for parent volunteers to assist in the library in the morning from about 8:15-9:00 am. Morning volunteers help shelve books, check books out to students, keep an eye on students during this busy time of the day, and assist with small projects. Ideally there will be two volunteers for each day of the week so they can alternate weeks or else come in together and back each other up when one or the other isn't available.

Field Hockey
The Beverly Middle School 7th + 8th grade field hockey had a strong start to their season yesterday with an unfortunate 1-0 loss to Triton here yesterday afternoon.
The field hockey game at Saugus has been cancelled today. There will be no practice today or tomorrow. We will resume practice on Thursday with an optional practice added on Friday. See Coach McGrath in room 444 with any questions.

North Shore-Merrimack Valley Relief Fund
Beverly Mayor Michael Cahill, Lynn Mayor Thomas M. McGee, Peabody Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr, and Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll have announced the establishment of the North Shore-Merrimack Valley Relief Fund for residents of their cities to donate directly to those displaced or impacted by the natural gas explosions and fires in Andover, Lawrence, and North Andover.
Those who wish to donate may do so by visiting any Eastern Bank location and donating over the counter. An online donation option will be available at www.salem.com soon.

Library Volunteers Sought
