Ball in the House Visits BMS

Ball in the House performing at BMS
BMS had the pleasure of hosting the a cappella group Ball in the House earlier this week, courtesy of the BMS PTO.

Their music and sounds were amazing! Students and teachers got in on the excitement. We were educated about harmony, beatbox and rhythm and the technology behind it, and the importance of collaboration and teamwork. They had some brave volunteers try out pieces of it and answered many great questions. Please visit www.ballinthehouse.com for more information and great videos and see what we posted on the BMS PTO Facebook page.

Thank you to all of our BMS families for supporting our school and fundraising efforts. Programs like this are fabulous for our students!

Bundt Cake Fundraiser

Dear Parents/Guardians of BMS,

Thank you so much for your support with our Bundt Cake Fundraiser. We had a lot of orders!

As some of you may know, with each new fundraiser there can be hiccups. There was a mix up with the Assortment 1 and Assortment 2 boxes. The store changed over to their "Holiday Assortment" after our order forms went home. Therefore, the flavors are different than what was indicated on the order form.

We hope that you are able to enjoy all of the delicious flavors that you received, but please reach out to us directly if there is something we can do to try to rectify this unfortunate occurrence.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!

The annual Marc Burns memorial meet has officially been rescheduled to 3:30 tomorrow, Wednesday, November 13th at our BMS home course! This meet has been held every year since Marc, a former Briscoe student and XC team member, tragically passed away in 2012. It means a lot to the family, who will be attending the meet and speaking a few words about Marc. We encourage anyone who is able to attend to please do so, and if you are willing, to bring canned goods which will be donated to Beverly Bootstraps in Marc's honor. Ribbons will be awarded to all who participated and an official race clock will be used.

Following the meet we will be having a pizza party on the first floor cafe for all team members from both the black and orange teams. We ask those interested in attending to please bring in $5 for pizza and soft drinks, or more if you are able to defray the costs for those who are not able to contribute. Mr. Arsnow's room is 304 on the third floor, first neighborhood for dropping off pizza money.

Thanks again to everyone for your support, we look forward to celebrating our championship season!
