Announcement: Beverly Keeps Reading!

The Beverly Public Library, in conjunction with the Beverly Public Schools’ librarians (Ms. Woznick at BMS and Mrs. Fecteau at BHS) are pleased to announce the BEVERLY KEEPS READING program.

This city-wide challenge is designed to keep everyone in Beverly reading while we're at home practicing social distancing. We're in this together and we want Beverly to read 5,000 books this spring

Patrons of all ages can participate by tracking their reading using an app/website called Beanstack. The reward? The pleasure of a good book, better reading skills -- but also, by using Beanstack, you can accumulate badges that will automatically enter you in weekly prize drawings from some of Beverly’s local businesses.

Super SubThe first drawing will be held on Friday, April 17. Anyone registered by the time of the drawing will qualify. There will be four $25 gift cards from Super Sub awarded for this first drawing -- two for adults and two for children under 18. This week's prizes are donated by the Friends of the Beverly Public Library and Super Sub!

We are grateful for the federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners to support this platform.

More information is available at the BEVERLY KEEPS READING web page.
