Henna Tattoos - Friday, December 7, 2018 from 12-2 PM in the Sohier Room
For teens only (grades 6-12)! Get an awesome henna tattoo (or two!). We’ll have snacks and a craft to work on while you wait for your turn. You must bring a signed permission slip to the event. Print one here or pick up in the teen area of the library.
Teen Lego Build - Tuesday, December 11, 2018, 3:30-4:30 PM in the Sohier Room
Stop by and build something AWESOME with our Legos! And yes – there will always be snacks!
Girls Who Code Club Information Session - Monday December 17, 2018, 4-5PM in the Sohier Room
Interested in building a website or cool app? Want to work as a team and build a project you care about? Join the new Girls Who Code Club. This club is free for teens in grades 6-12. No coding experience necessary. Just bring your commitment to trying something new. Come to the information session (parents and guardians welcome) to learn more. Club registration will be in January, with a club start date of February 4th. Interested in helping facilitate the club? Facilitators must be 18+ years old and have a passion for the mission of GWC. Pizza Book Club - Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 3:45-4:45PM in the Sohier Room
Read a great book, discuss it, and eat free Pizza! Pizza Book Club is open to teens in grades 6-12, but is especially good for middle school. (BMS students: Ask your teacher if Pizza Book Club can fulfill your independent reading requirement.) Our book this quarter is Unwind by Neal Shusterman. Pick up a copy at the circulation desk on the 2nd floor of the public library. This event requires registration. Register here!
