We just received word this morning that tomorrow's Orange team meet in Peabody has been postponed until Thursday. Please let us know if your child can't attend because of the last-minute schedule change. There will be no practice tomorrow.
BMS XC teams are pleased to be hosting the 7th annual Marc Burns Invitational "Friendship Meet" on Thursday, October 17th at our home course. Coach Arsnow has been coordinating with Saints Academy and Salem Middle School, who will be joining us for this community event. This is an optional meet, but we do hope for a strong turnout to support the family and to remember Marc. Please see the attached flyer for more details. We hope you will consider encouraging your kids to participate!
Also, the annual Jim Munn Invitational Meet will be held at Stage Fort Park in Gloucester one week later, on Thursday, October 24th. This is also an optional meet. Note: This is not part of our meet schedule and there will be no transportation. It is 100% voluntary and requires parents to organize and drive if their children are interested. The league NEC meet date is still TBD, and will be held at Stage Fort Park Gloucester. Last year we were limited in the number of runners who were eligible for this meet, so stay tuned.
