RLA/Hybrid Change Request Form

The following message went out today from BMS Principal Lisa Oliver. It is included here for your convenience.

Please disregard this email if you do not wish to make a change at this time. Please use the link below to communicate with the Leadership Team a request to change your student's RLA/ Hybrid placement.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScUylT0_dVO6cNKI2iC0vwGNlwbW74R_IzZaQTVgLTYDDagJg/viewform

Fill out the form in order to change a student’s placement from our Remote Learning Academy (RLA) to our hybrid in-person learning model (or from in-person learning to RLA).

As a reminder, currently our in-person model is two in-person days per week (Monday/ Thursday OR Tuesday/ Friday) with a three day remote component. Our RLA is fully remote and students must attend virtually Monday - Friday, 8:45- 3:00. Consistent attendance (including virtual attendance) is an expectation for both models. If you choose to change your child’s placement, please know that this will result in a change of your student’s team and teachers.

If you would like to change, please submit the form no later than Friday, March 12th. The 3rd trimester begins on March 17th.

No School Friday March 12

There will be no classes -- in person or online -- on Friday, March 12. Teachers will be engaged in professional development this day.

Please note that Thursday, March 11 is a regular school day for BMS students. They will attend all in-person or online classes as they normally would on a Thursday. It is noted as an "early release day" on the district calendar, but since most students leave the building anyway at 1:00, we do not need to adjust our schedule for the day.
