On Monday, January 18th from 9-10 am, Beverly's Human Rights Committee will host the City of Beverly's annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. remembrance event.
The program will be broadcast on BevCam Channel 8 as well online at https://beverlyhumanrights.org/
This will be a youth-led presentation with a montage of videos gathered from Beverly students. This event will also include words by Mayor Mike Cahill; Abu Toppin, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director; Dr. André Morgan, Beverly Public School's Director of Opportunity, Access, and Equity; and January Gill O'Neil, author, poet, and professor.
Although we miss meeting in person, we embrace the opportunity to share an hour in remembrance of this great American civil rights leader, whose vision is perhaps more relevant than ever for our community and our country.
