Next Week's Band Schedule

There will be no band class on Monday 12/21 or Tuesday 12/22 next week. Instead, ALL 5th and 6th grade students will have band on Wednesday 12/23 for a half hour sectional which will be their class time for band the two weeks that we are going remote for learning as a whole school. Please see the list below for the schedule. Band students should have received their Google Meet link.

Remote Learning Day on Thursday 12/17

Thursday 12/17 will be a remote learning day due to the snowstorm that has been forecast. You should have received a communication from the superintendent about it. More details will be posted on the school website.

Report Cards

Middle School report cards will be posted electronically in the Aspen parent portal today, Wednesday, December 16th, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. To view your child’s report card, you must have an active Aspen account. If you need assistance to access Aspen, please contact your child’s building principal.

Food Service - Wednesday Distribution

Due to the potential winter storm forecasted to hit the area on Wednesday night the food service department is being proactive and ensuring that all families have food just in case the forecast is accurate. 

On Wednesday December 16, Food Service will be handing out 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches at Beverly High School and will be extending hours to allow families picking up students from elementary schools to come to the High School for additional meals in case Thursday is a remote learning day. 

Distribution at Beverly High School Wednesday 12/16 will be from 7:15-7:45 & 10:30-12:30.

This is just a precaution to ensure all families have food in case the forecast is correct. There will still be meals provided on Thursday if school is in person.

Beverly Public Schools Food Service will be distributing multiple days' worth of food at Beverly High School on the following schedule while students are learning remotely.  Please wear a mask when picking up meals, for your safety and that of our staff.

Grade 7/8 Musical Announcement

7th and 8th Graders! It's your turn! This spring we will be performing Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. This musical brings a popular TV show to life with fun characters, rocking songs, and hilarious scene work. If you like to sing, dance, and act (VIRTUALLY) then this is for you.

Change Is Simple Virtual Field Trip Tomorrow - Sign Up Now!

While students are home on Friday enjoying a day off, they can join Change is Simple for their first LIVE virtual field trip on Friday, 12/11 at 10:00 AM. They will be taking students to Wellfleet, Mass. to learn about the history of the area, the diverse ecosystems, and about an amazing oyster farm, the Old Wharf Oyster Company.

This is recommended for students in grades 2-8 and is free for all Beverly Public School students. It will include both the virtual field trip and a live Q&A.

Weekend Meal Distribution TODAY at BHS

 Due to the upcoming parent-teacher conference/PD day on Friday, December 11, Food Services will be distributing weekend meals tomorrow, Thursday, December 10 at Beverly High School. They will be extending distribution times for that day only to 10:30-12:30 to accommodate families picking up students at elementary schools. 

Once again, weekend meal distribution for this week is today, Thursday December 10 from 10:30-12:30 at Beverly High School.
