Ben Speaks Assemblies This Week

Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful PTO and the many families who support it, we welcome Judy Giovangelo from Ben Speaks to BMS for four Power of Choice assemblies this week. Grades 5 and 6 have separate assemblies on Thursday, while grades 7 and 8 attend their own assemblies on Friday.

The Power of Choice presentation "empowers all students to take 100% responsibility for their choices, encourages working together collaboratively as a school community and provides a powerful tool set to increase self-esteem & emotional resiliency." We will be following up these assemblies with some purposeful activities in the classrooms on Monday morning.

Find out more about Ben Speaks at www.benspeaks.org and ask your child about what they learn!
