News Club
The News @ 502 is back starting in October! We will put out newspapers this year but also plan to explore exploring other news media - maybe podcasts, video and more. We want to cover what's going on in our community and what students care about.
We will have an informational meeting on Monday, October 7. The following week is a holiday, so we will have our first official meeting on Monday, October 21. News Club will typically meet on Mondays from 3:05-3:45, although we may go a little later sometimes depending on what's going on.
This club will be open to grades 6-8 during first trimester and we hope to invite grade 5 students later this year.
See Ms. Woznick in the library or Mrs. Lydon for more information.

Unfortunately, we have had several students drop glass water bottles at school, causing a safety issue due to broken glass on a slippery floor!
Students should bring only plastic or metal water bottles to school.
Also, please remember to label your child's water bottles and lunchboxes, because they are easy to leave behind, and some of the insulated bottles are quite expensive.
