BMS Science Fair

Beverly Middle School's Science Fair is coming on Tuesday, February 26!

Registration is open now. Click here to fill out the registration form so you can tell us about your wonderful self and what you're thinking about for a project (or if you don't know what you want to do yet)!

There will be three after-school mentoring sessions before the Science Fair on January 10, January 23, and February 4. The sessions are open to all students to help you choose a topic and get started. Have fun exploring!!

Register for Red Cross Babysitting Class - Starts Monday

Register today for the American Red Cross Babysitting Class at the EXPLORE@GUS After School Program... Transportation from Beverly Middle School is available!

This class is designed to help participants develop leadership skills, participants will learn how to keep themselves and others safe, gain useful tools for managing behavior with young children, learn basic child care, and first aid. Facilitated by GUS Faculty: Nancy Hartmann, Director of Auxiliary Programs and Kitty Hunt, School Nurse. Both Nancy and Kitty are certified American Red Cross Health and Safety Instructors. Registration is open, class starts Monday, January 7 and runs for 7 weeks from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Open to grades 5 to 8, fee is $165

NEW! Transportation will be available from Beverly Middle School to GUS in Beverly Farms! Upon arrival, middle schoolers will be supervised and do fun activities or have homework time until the start of the Babysitting Class at 4:00 p.m.

There is no school from Monday, December 24 through Tuesday, January 1 for December Vacation. Classes resume on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

Please note that today, Friday, December 21 is a full day. Students will be released at 3:00 pm.

Library Closed to Students Friday AM

The BMS Library will be closed to students tomorrow (Friday) morning. Students may visit the library Thursday or Friday after school or during the school day with teacher permission.

Tomorrow is Last Day - Discounted New Year's Eve Buttons

Beverly's New Year is a family event on New Year's Eve, December 31, from 3:30 - 7:00 pm. You can buy discounted "early bird" admission buttons through tomorrow, Thursday, December 20. The price goes up after that, and is available in fewer outlets.

BHS Musical Opportunity for Gr 5-8 - Act Now

Interested students in grades 5-8 may participate one of two ensemble numbers in this year's BHS Musical, Mary Poppins, which will be performed in May.

Return/Renew Overdue Library Books

About 200 BMS students have overdue school library books.

Books must be renewed or returned before the holiday break. Students with overdues cannot check books out in January until they clear their library account by returning or renewing books or by paying for lost books.

Please ask your child to return or renews any overdue books immediately. The library is open before school most days starting at 8:15 and after school until 3:45 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. It is open until 3:15 on Wednesday and Friday this week.

Please note that the library will be closed to students before school on Friday.
